My only objection to the name Dawson is that it reminds me too much of "Dawson's Creek". That was a good show but it was a different show. I've never done the role-playing before but it should be fun! Also, i've felt so bad about the show ending, this could be a good way to get over it. Hey, since maddie sue thought Logan falling off the cliff was "funny and not", i'm still open to that idea!! ;D We could have Jess walking by and seeing Logan fall. Jess thinks for a second "should i try to catch him" and decides "nah" and keeps on walking. It does sound like something Jess might do. Aside from that little bit of nonsense, i agree that we seem to all be on the same page. I think the CW network should pay us.

Yes indeed Jess would do something like that! I can see your objection b/c of it being on another show....but I just don't know which one to pick. Maddie Sue thinks it should be Dawson...you think it should be Kevin...so I am still undecided. I'll have to get back to you on that. Also please vote on the Rory's new boyfriend's name pole so that when I tally the votes next Saturday.... we can see which one is the winner! Thanks!

Love the Luke and Lor being engaged, but i think that they shouldn't be engaged to long because of what happened last time. I think they should get married and Lor should be pregnant...and then the baby come soon. Because it will be great with the obstacles of raising a boy! that was really good. There should be some difficulties but nothing huge. O and the keeping the engagement a secret was good too. Yeah, my thought is that the wedding take place about half-way through the season, so the engagement does not drag out too long. It doesn't matter to me exactly when Lorelai gets preggers, but for her to actually give birth we'll have to factor in nine months somehow. We never actually saw Lorelai pregnant on the show (except the one flashback episode) and that should be an adventure!

Ok def loving the wedding half way through. But what about for some extra drama....Lorelai getting pregnant at the beginning of the season....tells Luke...then plan the wedding for about 3 months....and then that leaves 6 months of planning for the baby!! We can have a really long season if we want....just remember it's "our" season; we can do whatever we want!

Rory has just left for her job, Lorelai is feeling bad, she and Luke are back together... it's a natural! They of course tell Rory about the pregnancy but otherwise keep it secret. One way or another someone in Star's Hollow finds out (maybe Sookie) and of course the news spreads like wildfire. Emily will be angry she was not informed sooner, yadda yadda, but she'll get over it. And of course you're right, we can time the whole thing however we want, let "time" elapse and jump forward, whatever.

yeah exactly! Well maybe they could tell Sookie and then she doesn't tell anyone EXCEPT Jackson. Whoever spreads the news should be someone who's not seen that often (such as Jackson) Emily will be her normal self when she finds out, but what else is new? lol

Whoever spreads the news should be someone who's not seen that often (such as Jackson) Emily will be her normal self when she finds out, but what else is new? lol Jackson is a good choice to "accidentally" spread the news. (I remember the early episode where he meets Christopher for the 1st time and then is caught gossiping about it after.) He could spill the news to Miss Patty and, with her mouth, that's all it takes! Sookie will be outwardly upset with Jackson but privately happy that now it's out and she can also gab freely about it. Then Emily, just by chance, might call Sookie to get a recipe (for Emily's chef) and Sookie could let the pregnancy news slip. Emily will react accordingly... Here's a possible idea on how the wedding "battle" might start: Once Emily finds out about Lorelai's pregnancy, she won't like the idea of a preggers Lorelai who is not married. Despite her mixed feelings about Luke, she insists on the wedding taking place as soon as possible. Naturally, she will want to handle everything because she has all the resources to make it happen quickly and make it happen right (her idea of right). Regarding Rory and the New Guy: Rory hears about an interview scheduled with Barak Obama and a group of reporters. She tries to get a pass for the interview session but fails. The New Guy already has a pass and helps get her into the interview. Once in, she manages to ask a question and makes an impression on the other reporters. She of course owes thanks to the New Guy. She invites him out for coffee (what else) and they start getting to know each other better.

I have an addition as to how the "wedding" battle will start. As soon as Emily finds out and starts to plan her idea of the "right" wedding....she quickly realizes that she can't do it by herself. Since Richard is out of town on business (as usual) and her maids are utterly afraid to make a mistake around her.....she has to find someone else. Of course Sookie is unavailable because she already called her and that is when Sookie goes off. An overview of the conservation would be that Sookie says that she can not go behind Lorelai's back and try to help Emily "sabotage" Lorelai's wedding. The bottom line is this: Sookie tells Emily that her and Rory will help Lorelai plan the wedding and she should just butt out! After all else fails Emily has a flashback to the time she met Rory's friend, Paris. She remembers that Paris acted just like Emily did when she was younger. An overachieving perfectionist who always had to know the scoop on everyone and do something about it. So Emily decides to call Paris and asks her to help plan Lorelai's wedding. Paris was delighted at the idea of "giving back" to Lorelai after they had so many lunches at the inn (season 6) and Lorelai had given her lots of advice. Then again she knew she was talking to Emily Gilmore (mother of all evil) and she knew that this was not going to be the most wonderful moment in Lorelai's life if Emily was planning it. But then a thought came into Paris' mind......it was also the perfect opportunity to get back at Rory for stealing her old "flame." The wedding battle is on! Also love the start of Rory and this new guy. When they go out for coffee, they get to talking and come to find that they have a lot in common. After that they decide to go back to Stars Hollow for the weekend because there was this book that that particular bookstore did not have that Rory wanted to show him. Once they get back into town....Ms. Patty and Babette spot them and the gossip begins!

Once they get back into town....Ms. Patty and Babette spot them and the gossip begins! I like the wedding zaniness, but on some level it should be understood that Emily & Paris actually mean well and want a good wedding (their idea of it). But, being who they are, they can't help being control freaks. I really cracked up when i read the part of Sookie telling Emily to butt out! Sookie has gotten angry a few times (at Jackson and even Lorelai once or twice), so i think she can pull it off. Maybe she can wave a big kitchen knife at Emily while she tells her off. I definitely like the idea of Rory & New Guy going to Star's Hollow, but i think a little more should happen between them first - that's a big step in a relationship! Maybe they could be out together and are so busy chatting that they miss the campaign bus and have an adventure catching up. They are both short on money and possibly hitch a ride with a guy who thinks all journalists are liars and phonies and dumps them back on the road. They eventually find their way and in the process get a lot friendlier. Then, when there is a break in the campaign, they go to Star's Hollow together. We can also have the New Guy's home nearby, maybe New York, for the sake of convenience. And i luv the idea of the Star's Hollow peeps gossiping about them. Hey, maybe the New Guy's name should be... New Guy! Yes, i'm joking (expect more of that).

Oh I know!! Anyone who reads this should know that bingbong is a big joker! (Don't worry I am too!) Oh boy that just gave me a crazy thought.....me and you put together=craziness lol! Yeah some other things need to take place before they go to Stars Hollow. I still like the idea of the coming home....going into the bookstore....then going to meet Lorelai! At some level I can get what you are saying about on some level Paris and Emily do mean well; it's just their intentions are much different from Rory and Sookie's. I prefer to think of it this way....there's 4 battles.....3 mini ones and 1 HUGE one! There's the battle between Emily and Sookie, Paris and Rory, and Lorelai and Emily. Then of course there's the major battle of Lorelai, Rory, and Sookie vs. Emily and Paris. Wouldn't it be funny if that Pendleton Lot (I think that's her name, but her last name might be Lock??) teamed up with Rory, Lorelai, and Sookie because at the Yale vs. Harvard game....Lorelai seemed to like her! All the drama is going to be so much fun to create!! You know we might actually be better producers than the ones who made up the show. We could create all the episodes of the 8th season and see if we can get the cast to come back and do it for all the fans. Wouldn't that be awesome? I really enjoyed your Pendleton Lot reference! But i think for the sake of our sanity we'd better leave her out of it. We've got enough worthy participants in the battle! I wonder if Doyle might intervene and help bring Paris back to her senses at some point (in the same way that Richard might do for Emily). Behind every great and wacky woman there is a good little man. After the mini-battles take place, i can see them having a meeting where they all get together, the two sides facing each other and going at it. But in the end, it should come down to Lorelai and Rory and Emily coming to terms - they are the biggest players, the Gilmore Girls.

Well it turns out that's not possible....so just don't delete your last post...okay? I would never delete any post that contains the name Pendleton Lot ;D Now i'm wondering if Emily deleted the post. You know how she feels about dear ol' Pendleton. I suppose when the two battling sides have their showdown, Pendleton could make a brief appearance. But the mere sight of her might cause Emily to have a heart attack... ok, see what you did? You know i can get crazy like that. It's your fault for bringing up Pendleton Lot. Yes, i luv saying her name, just like Emily in the episode when she got drunk...

Looks like your post was "magically" restored. Or, perhaps you copy/pasted it into a new one, aye? Or, perhaps it is the Power of Pendleton Lot!
